Dr Malia King, L.Ac., DACM, is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the State of California. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco, with a double major in Business and Communication. Following a personal injury, Malia discovered the efficacy of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine first hand, and left a career in the fashion industry to pursue holistic medicine. She received her Master’s degree after completing a 4-year Master’s program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She had the great fortune to do post-graduate training with renowned acupuncture master Dr. Wang Ju-Yi in Beijing, and at Zhejiang TCM University in Hangzhou, China. Malia then received her doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018.
Malia is a member of the California State Oriental Medical Association.
